3 Looks, 1 Bomber With Aaron Camper
In many ways, Aaron Camper’s music harkens back to a different time. It’s R&B with substance and sincerity, and there’s a smoldering passion palpable in his well-crafted songs. Originally from Salsbury, MD, he grew up in the church, and that early influence is certainly evident in his soulful singing style. To date, the talented singer/songwriter has worked with major names like David Guetta & Diddy, and shared the stage with Justin Timberlake & Chris Brown. He released a critically acclaimed EP last year that featured the scorching, slow-burner “Hypnotizing.” That song is still buzzing, and has garnered over 10 million streams on Spotify. His latest single is “Heat,” and it’s a solid precursor to his highly anticipated EP, Summer Camp dropping soon.
We invited Aaron to our O.N.S SoHo studio to style one of our favorite new outerwear pieces, the Bax Bomber, from our FW17 collection.
If you want to do the double-jacket thing, layering with your favorite hoodie is a great option to pair with a bomber. What takes this outfit to the next level is its breezy addition of the classic buffalo plaid button-up layered over the hoodie, plus the rosin green trousers for additional color. It’s a testament to the navy bomber’s understated versatility. Dressed up, or down, you can’t go wrong.
Evening Night Out
Just because a particular piece is a classic, doesn’t mean it can’t also be worn with a forward-looking attitude. In fact, we love the pairing of the Bax Bomber with a crisp white button-up layered under a vest (the perfect fall transitional piece) and pleated trousers. This is an outfit that will serve you well for a variety of events, from fall dinner parties to a special night out and whatever else follows.
Ease And Comfort
Off-duty hours are prime for comfortable clothes, but that doesn’t mean you have to look sloppy. Joggers might seem a little too casual for going out, but it can actually look rather stylish when paired with the right pieces. We love the “bomber-jogger” combo, and the crewneck sweater helps amplify the sporty vibe and places you right at the edge of the “athleisure” trend. This is the outfit you walk your dog, buy your groceries, and hit the gym in, while still looking incredibly good.
