Go Green With Fall’s “It” Color
Every time a new season rolls around, there is a certain color that’s designated by the entire fashion world as the hot color to be seen in. For this fall, it seems we’re all headed to Emerald City because that “must-have” color is green. It’s being used everywhere: for formal wear, casual separates, athletic-inspired pieces and all manner of accessories. The great thing about green is that depending on the shade, it can be used as either a foundation or “pop” color. For styling the season’s “it” color, here are three ways we recommend wearing green this season:
LAYERED-UP GREEN: In the early transitional months of fall, the weather fluctuates wickedly from morning to night. To navigate this inevitable unpredictability, your best bet is to master the art of layering. The winning strategy is wearing form-fitting layers that don’t bulk up on your frame. In this scenario, a pop of green as shown below is a nice touch to take the “boring” out of your autumn layers.

DRESSED-UP GREEN: There was once an era in menswear when deviating from tried and tested suiting colors (black, navy, khaki) was considered as traversing too far into dandy territory. That’s no longer the case. We recommend you take your blazer game to the next level by incorporating some unexpected colors into the mix. A pine green or forest green color looks fresh & new when worn as a blazer. And when paired with the right shirt, the resulting look is pure gold.

UTILITARIAN GREEN: In the family of greens, the all-purpose “military” or “olive” green color is a proven workhorse for a wide variety of outfits. It’s the kind of color that offers the perfect backdrop for a sleek silhouette and deft design touch to fully shine. As seen with our workwear-influenced shirt jacket below, the subdued green color adds a level of sophistication and refinement to the entire ensemble.
