Fall Cocktails at Dante
As the seasons change, so should your selections of liqueurs and cocktails. Depending on the occasion, details such as proportions and ingredients can become a hassle, so we got in touch with our friend, Marlo Gamora, bartender at Dante in Greenwich Village, NYC to fix us a few drinks.
Dante has been a downtown staple for many years, first opening in 1915, and then changing ownership to the Flotta family in 1971. For the next 40 years, Dante continued to be a neighborhood favorite, serving noteworthy NYC denizens like Bob Dylan, Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, and Patti Smith. Dante changed ownership once again in 2015 to a NY-based, Australian family, and we’re happy to report that its time-honored traditions of quality and hospitality remained the same.
For FW16, the cocktail program at Dante is quite impressive. Our bartender, Marlo offered us 3 stellar choices for autumnal drinking. Read on below to see his suggestions.
