Style Guide: Meet the 3 O.N.S Personas
“Less is more” is the best way to describe the approach of the Minimalist. All things we tend to think of as a Minimalist are easily identifiable by their simplicity and clarity of purpose; think elevation, refinement, and of course, the appreciation for monochrome color palettes. We recommend starting with our Malcolm sweatshirt—a sure-to-be staple within the minimalist’s closest because of its versatility—and then exploring a few of our sportier outerwear pieces. A low profile silhouette sneaker (or boot for cooler months) will be your best bet for footwear.

If you’re a frequent adventure seeker, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice functionality for style. The key to our Explorer persona is building rugged and robust looks that are still able to withstand the elements. Which means, you’ll need proper outerwear, like our quilted lined shirt jacket, built lighter than your typical chunky outwear, but will still provide the warmth you need. Continue the practical utilitarian tone with cargo pants, and add checked shirts or flannel for style. And if you’re still in need of some extra layering options, add a henley or a vest for the best results.

The Creator is the pithiest and punchiest of our 3 personas. If the minimalist’s mantra is “less is more,” then the Creator answers with, “How much is enough?” Bold colors, textures, and prints are the many joys of getting dressed as the Creator, but be warned, there’s a method to the madness, and such boldness needs to be tastefully tamed. The key to carrying off such vibrant style with confidence is to offer a slight glimpse of bright color or bold texture, through layering and accessories. And if you’re going to go all out, you just have to fully commit.
