O.N.S Investment Piece: 1 Jacket, 3 ways
You’ve heard the saying before, “Time is money,” and we feel clothing shouldn’t monopolize too much of our time, given that a lot of O.N.S pieces are practical and fuss-free. The jacket is one of the most important garments to invest in. You’re repeatedly removing and putting it back on throughout the day as the weather and environments change, so it’s an important piece to think about. With this in mind, we’ve taken one of our favorite pieces of the season, the Connor Car Coat, and shown you three easy ways to style it.
Weekend Barbecue
The band collar is one of the easiest ways to stay casual despite its button-down trait. We’ve chosen to team this chambray-cotton variation with our Bedford Short, which is perfect for a relaxed summertime look. Thanks to the lightweight fabric of the Connor Car Coat, it’s a great layering piece that’ll come in handy when your barbecue transitions into a cool summer night bonfire.
Office Appropriate
Stepping up the scale of formality, here we have the same jacket but this time worn with our spread collar button-down shirt. We’ve shown it styled with the collar open, but the shirt could easily be buttoned up, and tucked in for a clean look. Try pairing it with a tie is a way to make the look smarter still.
Rooftop Drinks
Keep this in mind. Wide stripes equal casual attire. Shirts with bigger patterns pair easily with chinos and a sneaker, and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. Pairing the shirt and sneaker combo with the Connor Car Coat makes for a look that’s professional and fun. On another note, making a first attempt at wearing white trousers can definitely be a step out of the comfort zone. We suggest trying something that’s only a touch darker, making it much easier to wear.
