Hit the Trail: Hiking-Inspired Outfits to Get You Going This Spring
When we were designing our new Grey Label we drew on inspiration from around the world. We looked to Japanese fashion, travel gear, and even the outdoors to create a sleek, sophisticated collection that’s made to move. But some of our more urbane customers might be unfamiliar with how to integrate hiking-inspired garments into their city-focused wardrobes. So here we styled out a couple laydowns to help. Featuring our trail-inspired Acadia Short and our camp-style Insa Short, these outfits show the best ways to add a little hiking inspo into your city fits.
Denim to Denali
Our denim Insa Short features a tonal construction, with navy blue patch pockets atop an indigo base. To elevate the the Insa, pair it with our Hawthorne Reversible Jacket, which boasts one textured linen-cotton side and a clean nylon inner. Add one crisp Lenox Pocket Tee for a hint of city polish and your ready to go almost anywhere.
Clean Slate (Grey)
This version of our Insa Short comes in a marled grey cotton-linen blend, which makes them breezy to wear and hard to wear out. Here, add a bit of gravitas, layering up with a Jalan Tee and slate grey button down. Add some dress boots and boom, you’re ready to walk your city just like you’re hiking up a mountain.
Great Blue Yonder
This version of our Acadia Short was made to match our crinkly Kura Jacket, making an informal suit that can be worn together or separate. Starting from this base, add a blue Lenox Pocket Tee to inject a bit of levity to this dark ensemble. Worn with some matching grey sneakers, this outfit is easy and casual, with just a hint of dressy polish, which means it’s also versatile and comfortable.
Vested Interests
This version of our Insa Short was designed to match our Heron Packable Vest. Together they make a trail-ready outfit that also looks right on city sidewalks. Tote the Heron Packable Vest along during transitional spring weather and you’ll have a stylish extra layer to keep you warm when our Strada Zip Polo isn’t quite up to the weather.
