Entertaining At Home: The Holiday Soirée
Do you have what it takes to be a “host with the most” this Holiday season? Well first off, let’s back up for a minute and explain what that actually means. A host with the most is a skilled bon vivant who can dine, dazzle and entertain a gathering of guests with confidence, class and charm. It takes years of training and scores of parties to master this skill, and only a choice few ever attain this coveted title.
If all that sounds a little too intense, don’t worry, we can take some smaller steps. In this feature, we’re giving you a crash course on how to make an excellent cocktail for any intimate holiday gathering. The drink we selected is called “Four’s A Crowd,” and here are the ingredients and visual instructions below:
1.5 oz Fords Gin
0.75 oz Campari
0.75 oz Sherry
0.5 sweet vermouth
Grapefruit Twist, for garnish
To start, measure all the ingredients into a mixing glass.
Next, add ice, stir with a bar spoon and strain into a rocks glass.
To finish, garnish with a generous citrus peel.
Share with friends and enjoy.
