This Swedish Word Perfectly Captures the O.N.S Design Philosophy
O.N.S firmly believes that simplicity underlays every good design, which is why we were happy to discover that at least one whole country seems to agree with us. That country is Sweden, and its unofficial national philosophy of lagom, which “loosely means ‘not too little, not too much, but just enough,'” according to Linnea Dunne author of the 2017 book Lagom: The Swedish Art of Balanced Living, has much in common with what we do here. To prove it and prepare you for your next trip to that country, we created a lagom-inspired travel wardrobe based on the finest O.N.S basics. With white denim, a blue chambray shirt, simple blue bomber, marled crew neck sweatshirt, and classic water-resistant trench, this outfit is lagom embodied. It will pack up easy, go anywhere, and work well for almost anyone no matter where they take it in life. With every piece any man ever needs it’s certainly not “too little,” but its subdued, color palette and ultra compatible pieces mean it’s not “too much” either.
